Stonebwoy to launch his necessary evil album in Tamale this year


The 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of the Year Stonebwoy born Livingstone Etse Satekla has disclosed in an interview on Diamond Fm Drive Time his plan to launch “Necessary Evil” album at the Tamale sports stadium this year.
Stonebwoy in a phone interview with Original Soundboy expressed his gratitude to his fans in Tamale for their support and as part of his pay back he has promised to launch his latest album “Necessary Evil” in Tamale. 
 “The people of Tamale have supported me from day one, some fans even travelled all the way to Accra to support me at the VGMA awards. I appreciate it,” he said. 
He also added “my fans in Tamale should keep their finger cross because is my plan to launch my latest album at the Tamale supports stadium to show my appreciation.”

His responds: “ I started music way back in the secondary school and I am not intimidated, all I know is that I will have to work harder to keep producing hit records. As I speak to you bafira video is been plan and will be out soon”

Too much sex in your music wouldn’t get you there – Wiyaala advice to Female artiste in Northern Region.



Her career started off humbly in 2011 when she auditioned for the Stars of the Future reality show where she earned a spot in the finals - winning two Golden Moments awards. 

In 2012, she, a member of Black N Peach, won Vodafone ICONS Mixed Edition music reality show. She left the Black N Peach band in April 2013 to pursue a solo career with Djimba World Records.

In 2014, Wiyaala swept two deserving awards at the maiden edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) held in Lagos, Nigeria.

She received two 23.9-carat gold-plated trophies for The Most Promising Artiste in Africa and The Revelation of the African Continent.

Unseating Efya as the Best Female Vocal Performance at the VGMA 2015 is one achievement that has gotten some female artiste in the Northern Region aspiring to fit in their shoes.

In an interview with Original Soundboy on Diamond FM Drive Time she advised that being your self and natural is the key to succeeding the music industry.

“They should be them selves and not wear long hair to represent something that they are not. Female artiste in the Northern Region should not sexualize their music but make it entertaining and educating” Wiyaala advised.

He plans still is to stage a concert in Tamale this year

RAS BADINGU ON DIAMOND FM DRIVE TIME

Born in the Upper East Region, Ibrahim Moomin known as Ras Badingu in showbiz is the first underground artist in Ghana who has performed on big platforms outside Ghana alongside other big names in music.
He was first signed with Samini’s High-grade Record Label but now with Amanziba label. In an interview with Original Soundboy on Diamond FM Drive Time, he stated that his decision to leave High-grade family was as a result to his preferred genre of music which High-grade was not into.
“ I Am in Tamale to shoot my music video and to promote my music too, I started commercial music in 2008 but I have been trying to learn the business aspect of the work that’s how come my name is not among the big names in the industry”
He also stated that he has the highest nomination at the upcoming Upper East Music Awards and promised to take the country by surprise.
 His latest single with Abu Sadik is out, titled “DUUNIYA”.

AM TRYING TO UNCOVER WHY MY LAST SHOW IN TAMALE WAS A FLOP – BLAKK RASTER



Ghanaian reggae musician and radio presenter, Blakk Rasta says he believes people should have sex before marriage.

According to the controversial presenter, he prefers that people or a couple have an intercourse before they tie the knot.
He confirmed the statement in an interview with Original Soundboy on Diamond FM Drive Time, stating that having sex before marriage enable the partners to identify their sexual predilection so as not to create bewilderment after marriage. 
“I don’t still understand how my last show was a flop. However, Am doing my homework to find the cause.” This was his respond when the host asked him his plans for Tamale this year.
