Balotelli's Brother Enoch Arrested

Manchester City star Mario Balotelli’s brother appeared in an Italian court on Christmas Eve accused of assaulting two policemen. Enoch Barwuah, 20, who had trials with Stoke City and Sunderland before signing for Salford City last month, was held after a brawl at a bar and kept in custody until his appearance before a judge. The court heard how he had been attacked as he drank in a bar in Brescia with his sister Abigail by a man who ripped his shirt but Barwuah then turned on the police, who had been called by the owner of the bar. Officers said they found Barwuah in the street, shirtless and barefooted and when they approached they were kicked and punched. They also reported that their squad car was damaged in the incident. The court bailed Barwuah to his home address in Brescia until January 3, when he will have a fast-track trial, accused of assault and resisting arrest. At his hearing, Barwuah apologised and admitted that his reactions had been ‘unjustified’ but claimed that he had become concerned when his sister ‘felt ill’ during the attack. Barwuah is the younger brother of Balotelli, who also has a sister called Angel. The three other siblings remained with their natural parents when Balotelli was adopted as a baby by a wealthy Italian couple.

Chris Brown Takes His Controversies To Nigeria

American singer Chris Brown who stormed Nigeria over the weekend couldn't hide his controversial character as every move by the RNB superstar from the airport to his hotel and even on stage sparked controversies. Chris Brown reportedly snubbed a Nigerian female fan who was trying to hug him. Chris Brown’s reaction to this female Nigerian fan trying to hug the superstar, it seems he does certainly not want any love from our Nigerian ladies. The “Don’t Judge Me” singer raised a lot of questions with the number of American security officers he came along with to Nigeria. From the pictures coming out from his stay in Lagos, it looks like the singer who usually put up a good show with his backup dancer had more bodyguards even than dancer this time around. Chris Brown was also spotted in the company of some armed Nigerian military men who added to his security detail. On the event night, Saturday December 22, 2012 Chris Brown stunned and thrilled the Nigerian fans who attended his concert held at the Expo Hall of the Eko Hotel and Suites, when he brought out Nigeria’s very own Star Boy Wizkid on Stage during his splendid performance. This is actually huge for Wizkid because aside their performance together on one stage, the two will surely be working on something together in the studio. Chris Brown even gave bloggers and internet panic something to talk about when he released pictures of the house he lodged in. With his mind off the show after giving a good account of himself on stage, the 23-year-old who was overwhelmed with the size of the undisclosed Lagos home show organizers lodged him in. Bewildered by the size of the house, Chris Brezzy share a couple of pictures on Instagram with the caption ‘This house I’m at in Nigeria is big as f**k!‘. He put up other photos included him playing with two dalmatian dogs. Chris Brown later flew out of Nigeria to continue his African tour which kicked off in South Africa over a week ago.

Mugees R2bees To Go Solo

Speculations gathered by 18newspaper.com through its sources disclose that a member of the R2bees family – Mugees to be precise is all ready to go on a solo journey with a release of dancehall album. According to our sources, Mugees who is tagged as one of the most versatile artiste in the country now, completed his untitled dancehall album long enough and has even released some singles like ‘Am done’ which is one classic dancehall tune making waves in and outside the country. In a chit chat with a source close to R2bees, it was also gathered that, the upcoming album from Mugees was recorded by no other than Kill Beat, the beat beast, whose fingers has never missed a hit ever since his acceptance into the music industry. The big question is, wont this solo journey taken by Mugees split the group R2bees who are currently one of the best groups the country has? In our quest to find out what management thinks about Mugees’ solo album journey, a management member in a chat with us during preparations for one of the biggest shows that ever took place recently in the country at the Dome, noted that, Paedae who is the other member of the group (R2bees) is so comfortable with the idea of his partner hitting a solo album. The management member said: ‘these two guys are more than brothers, they understand each other more than anybody else hence the family of R2bees including Paedae totally supports the Mugees upcoming dancehall album. He mentioned that, all those who have seen the ‘Am Done’ video can testify that Paedae was largely represented hence if it was the other way round, trust the R2beees brand to be stronger and supportive, no splits. We agree with the management member of R2bees because looking at the chemistry between these two artistes nothing can separate them. These are two strong individual artistes forming a group.

A lesson to the young and all by my Boss

Everyone has ambitions. Even the kids do. You can tell by the kind of shoes they wear. Maybe, we parents should should look to buying durable shoes so that if they just ended up wearing those we won't bow our heads in shame or regret. These children look up to us for inspiration and an example. An example which they want to outgrow and improve upon. We owe them a duty of striving for the best. Of course, there is nothing wrong if we gave up our best and still failed, at least, our foot prints will be planted in the sands of time which they would learn from. We owe them a moral duty to leave no stone unturned and no "turn unstoned" Their right to a dignified life and ambitions freely expressed should not be taken away because we failed in our duty of brazing the odds today. Parents and would be parents alike, guardians; without regard to what happens, no matter how long it takes, no matter the stormy weather let's just keep moving.....

Murder plot against Bieber foiled

Investigators have thwarted a convicted murderer's plot to kill and castrate teen idol Justin Bieber, Albuquerque's KRQE news reports. According to the site, Dana Martin -- currently serving two life sentences in New Mexico for raping and killing a 15-year-old girl in Vermont 12 years ago -- recruited a fellow inmate at the state prison near Las Cruces to help him carry out a series of murders, one of which was planned for the "Beauty and the Beat" singer. Law-enforcement officials say recently released inmate Mark Staake and his nephew Tanner Ruane were supposed to take down the pop sensation at his sold-out Madison Square Garden concert in New York City in November. The plan was to strangle the young star and his bodyguard with paisley ties, Martin's calling card, and then castrate both victims. Before the grisly deed was carried out, however, Staake was arrested in Vermont on outstanding warrants. Apparently, Martin -- who KRQE says is "obsessed" with Bieber and has a tattoo of the singer on his leg -- blew the whistle on his own scheme and revealed the whole murder plot to cops. Investigators later recorded phone calls between Martin and Ruane in which the two discussed the killings. Ruane was subsequently apprehended by New York police, who found murder tools and pruning shears on him at the time of his arrest. Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, spoke to Us Weekly exclusively about the planned attack, noting that the singer's well-being was his team's top priority. "We take every precaution to protect and insure the safety of Justin and his fans," Braun told Us. Sarkodie ‘Stabs’ R2Bees

According to credible information, all is not well between two Tema based artistes R2bees and Sarkodie due to a looming tension between the two. The best pals fell off last weekend over an issue of mistrust and betrayal. Sarkodie and R2bees who were billed alongside a Pan African group P-Square on the “Top of the World Celebration” concert, together threatened to boycott the show prior to the main night allegedly over an alleged huge disparity between their performance fee of (¢20,000 and ¢10,000 respectively) and that of the Nigerian stars P-Square, who reportedly charged close to $.200, 000. The two confronted the organizers together on Thursday evening November 22, and demanded additional money or they would not mount the stage. According to a close source, managements of Sarkodie and R2Bees were still in talks with the organizers the whole of Thursday and Friday still insisting on being paid more, but late Friday night a call was placed from Sarkodie’s camp to one of the senior executives of Charter House, organizers of the event, that they should forget about their demand and that Sarkodie was ready to perform. Interestingly, all this happened without the knowledge of R2Bees or their manager who were leading the ‘crusade’ for more money. The duo (Mugees and Paedae) felt betrayed and disappointed in Sarkodie and his management, for stabbing them in the back to perform on a show they have both agreed not to perform until the organizers increase their performance fee. According to Ike, manager of R2Bees, they had that information on Friday night when he was still negotiating that Sarkodie had agreed to perform, and when he confronted Sammy Forson, Sarkodie’s manage; he confirmed that indeed they had agreed to perform because they didn’t want any bad blood between them and the organizers. According to him they didn’t believe it until they were informed that Sarkodie actually mounted the stage to perform at the Independence Square, and that they (R2Bees) were replaced with Samini. The group is currently dumbfounded that their friend Sarkodie could betray them for something they are both trying to change for the benefit of every Ghanaian artiste. They also feel misled because because this whole idea to boycott the show was Sarkodie’s idea and they trusted him enough to play along, but he rather double-crossed them. However, R2Bees manager said that “Oh! We as R2Bees do not hold anything against Sarkodie, we don’t have any problem with him but all I can say is that we have learnt our lessons. We have advised ourselves” Ike said admitting that Sarkodie “Obidiponbidi” has indeed ‘played Judas’ with them.
