TAMALE RAPPER [ATAAKA] SHARES HIS ARREST STORY AND LIFE IN PRISON ON DIAMOND FM DRIVE TIME.



Last year we witnessed the arrest of Rapper Kwaw kese. This year however, another Rapper from Tamale was arrested along side some suspected sakawa boys.
Ataaka known in the showbiz was arrested in an operation to rid the city of Internet fraudsters also known as “SAKAWA”. He spent three days at Sakasaka Police station and two days in prison before he was granted bail.
Two days after his release he shared his story on Diamond Fm Drive Time with Original Soundboy.
“Dj! It was a terrible experience; I was beaten by the military on that faithful night and transported  to sakasaka police station”. He said in a calm voice.
“ I went to record a song at the studio with Eduwoji that night, after our session I was stopped by some military men on my way home, they forced me into their vehicle and took me to the sakasaka police station.”  Ataaka explained.
“Life in prison is not good at all, I want to advice people to stay away from the prison by obeying the law and doing right. There is no luxury there,” He added.
The artist also shared details of his latest single entitled “Ayoo” which is inspired by his experience in prison.

IWAN UNVEIL HIS PLANS FOR TAMALE AND MORE ON DIAMOND FM DRIVE TIME..


-->Known for his slick voice and reggae vibes, Iwan in the past years made his way in the reggae scene in Ghana with his hit single ‘Thanks and Praise’ then followed ‘Who's Bad’ and the rest. 

 In resent times the artist has been M.I.A according his fans and they can’t wait to find out what he has been up to and his plans for this year. 

To satisfy the curiosity of his fans, the Host of Diamond 93.7 fm Drive Time (Original Soundboy) took the pain to find out from the artist why the M.I.A….

Iwan disclosed in the interview that he has been working on a single that will reaffirm his title as the prince of reggae. He gave out the title of the single as “FAKE FANS”. 

Asked his plans for Tamale this year, he was quick to add that “ I will be staging a big concert before May this year and I will be coming with other top dancehall and reggae artist, so tell my fans and the people of Tamale to watch out for me this year”.

 Fake fans he says is the title of his upcoming single, which will be premiered on Diamond 93.7 FM drive time when released.

Tamale Rapper (Ataka) to be released tomorrow..



Tamale rap superstar - ATAKA, who was arrested alongside some suspected sakawa boys on Friday night, will be granted bail tomorrow Thursday after a stiff plea from his management.
In an interview with Original Soundboy on Diamond fm drive time DJ PARARA the manager of Ataka disclosed that the police has promised to grant the artist bail tomorrow Thusday 2 April, 2015.
“Ataka was supposed to be granted bail today but due to some circumstances the bail was pushed to tomorrow” he stated.

A music Icon in Tamale arrested..


In a joint operation carried out by the Police and the Military in Tamale last Friday to apprehend suspected Internet swindlers also known as “sakawa”; a prominent rapper was arrested in the process.
Known in the showbiz as Ataka. The rapper according to some people completed a studio session and was on his way home when the police arrested him including some suspected sakawa boys.
The rapper has since been detaining at the Tamale police station without bail. His management who has asked his fans and the public to pray for him is yet to release a statement concerning the current situation of the artist and their plans to attest his innocent.
