Ghana’s first Grammy award nominee Rocky Dawuni who hails from
Northern Ghana but was born and raised in Tema, Michel camp in an interview
with Original Soundboy on Diamond Fm drive time opined northern musicians to
focus more on their culture when producing musical content for the public.
“That is the only way they can make history like him”, he
said.
He visited his village Bunbon Nayili on the New Year day to
celebrate “Pito” festival with his brother Wumbe Dawuni who is the chief of
the village.
In a telephone
interview, he spoke about his Grammy nomination and how Ghanaians can support
him bag the award and lot more.
