NO BEER IN HEAVEN SONG IS NOT TO ENCOURAGE BEER CONSUMPTION - ATONGO ZIMBA


Atongo Zimba, born in Bolgatanga in 1967, gained first fame, as he was for a year and a half the opening act at the Shrine shows of Fela Kuti in Lagos, Nigeria.

Atongo recorded his first album "Allah Mongode" in 1994 in Switzerland and that same year he went on his first European tour, soon followed by a second tour, in Spain and Germany. 

In an interview on Diamond FM with Original Soundboy the “No beer in Heaven” hit maker debugged the perception that his song promotes the consumption of beer.

NORTHERN ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS DISCUSSED ON DIAMOND FM DRIVE TIME




Acknowledging the endless efforts of entertainers in the northern part of Ghana has always been mirage in the minds of stakeholders in the industry. Some efforts made in the past warped after first attempt.

It is high time reputable establishments take up the challenge in ensuring that hard working entertainers are acknowledged and rewarded for their good works as this only, will not encourage them to continue with the good works but invite others to the industry.

Northern Entertainment awards according to Nash Iddi, the public relations office of the scheme “ It’s a credible award scheme that seek to award deserving entertainers from the northern region”.

He explained the objective of the scheme today on Diamond Fm drive time with Original Soundboy. Stating that, “ this award scheme will bring to reality the staunch scheme northern entertainer have been yearning for”

ONE ON ONE INTERVIEW WITH DJ MEZZ OVER LEAVING JUSTICE FM



Yussif Abu Manan commonly known as DJ Mezz became the toast of town few weeks after he took over Metro Mix drive at Justice FM in 2009. He has since hosted the show till date.

In a one on one interview with Original Soundboy of Diamond FM, DJ Mezz officially disclosed that he has left Justice FM effective today 1st March 2016.

“Is a decision my self and the management of Justice FM took and so, it’s official that I no longer work with Justice FM. However, I am not leaving radio…. I will be back on another medium” Dj Mezz shared.

He refused to divulge the cause of the separation.
