Staying relevant in the entertainment industry is the
desire of every artist in Ghana including Kaaki who has been silent for a
while. The reason for her silence according to the producer of her latest single
“give it to me” was to observe and strategize.
Kaaki broke her
silence last week with a hot dancehall single titled “Give it to me”, the song
was introduced to her fans in the southern part of the country since its
release and as part of reaching her nation wide fans, the producer of the song
JMJ BABY considered it necessary to reach her fans in the northern part of the
country as well.
In an interview with Original Soundboy on Diamond FM
drive time, JMJ introduced the song to fans in Tamale and explained the motive
behind it.
“ There are times you need to sit back and observe,
this gives another people an opportunity and help you plan well. That is what
Kaaki has been doing, Give it to me is for Kaaki’s matured fans, its 18+ rated
and for the clubs”. He said.
